Zero an empty SSRS table field

If a table value is returned as NULL then its appearance may be improved by displaying a ‘0’ instead.  this is achieved by the expression:

=IIF(Sum(Fields!theCount.Value) is Nothing, “0”,

Display multi-value parameters

In SQL Server 2008 Reporting Services all the values from a multi-value parameter can be displayed using the JOIN function as below:

Join(Parameters![parameterName].Label,”, “)

The second parameter accepted by this function being the separating character.  It took me a lot of trawling through BOL to find this.
